Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

At Nestyd, we value your trust and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

1. Who We Are

Nestyd is an AI-assisted, Vastu-compliant spatial design platform currently in its pre-launch phase. This website is operated for the purpose of managing early-access signups and waitlist registration. For any privacy-related queries, you can reach out to us at help@nestyd.com.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We limit data collection to the absolute minimum required to manage our waitlist and offer incentives. When you register on our website, we collect:

  • Email Address: Required to verify your subscription, communicate platform updates, and coordinate early-access feedback.
  • Phone Number (Optional): Collected only if you choose to provide it, to facilitate priority onboarding and direct feedback loops.
  • Persona Designation: Your selection (e.g., homeowner, designer, hobbyist, or student) to help us customize platform features to our audience.
  • Approximate Location (Country and Region): Derived automatically from your network request via Vercel infrastructure headers. This is coarse geographic data only — we do not collect your precise address or GPS coordinates.
  • IP Address Hash: We do not store your raw IP address. Instead, we store a one-way salted cryptographic hash (SHA-256) solely to detect duplicate or abusive registrations. The hash cannot be reversed to reveal your actual IP address.
  • Referral Source: If you arrive via a referral link or marketing campaign, we record the source identifier (e.g., UTM parameter or referring hostname) to understand how users discover Nestyd. No personal information is contained in this field.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If you are a minor, please do not submit any information through this website. If we become aware that data has been submitted by a minor, we will delete it promptly.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your personal information for the following specific purposes:

  • Waitlist Administration: Managing your position in line and notifying you when access becomes available.
  • Feedback & Contact: Reaching out to you during the development phase to gather feedback, conduct user interviews, and refine our AI model based on real-world requirements.
  • Incentive Distribution: Associating your registration email with your future Nestyd platform account. Upon initial launch and login, this email will be used to automatically credit your account with the waitlist signup credits (up to 200 credits).

4. Data Protection Commitments

Your privacy is paramount to us. We adhere to the following principles:

  • No Selling or Sharing: We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or external companies for marketing purposes.
  • Security Measures: We employ robust security measures to protect your database entries against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
  • Infrastructure Partners: Your data is stored securely using industry-standard cloud partners (such as Supabase and Vercel) who act solely as data processors under strict security guidelines.
  • Analytics: This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-first analytics tool that collects anonymous page view and performance data. No personal identifiers, cookies, or cross-site tracking are involved. Vercel Analytics does not receive your email address, phone number, or any form field data.
  • Cross-Border Data Processing: Our infrastructure partners (Supabase and Vercel) may process and store data on servers located outside India. We ensure that any such transfer is subject to equivalent data protection standards and contractual safeguards consistent with the DPDP Act, 2023.

6. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023

As a data principal in India, you are entitled to several rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Information: Access to a summary of the personal data being processed and the processing activities.
  • Right to Correction and Erasure: The right to update inaccurate details or request that we delete your contact information entirely from our waitlist.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: The option to withdraw your consent to be contacted at any point.
  • Right to Grievance Redressal: The right to have complaints addressed by our Grievance Officer within the timelines prescribed by law, and thereafter to escalate unresolved grievances to the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted under the DPDP Act, 2023.
  • To exercise any of these rights, please email us at help@nestyd.com with the subject line "Data Rights Request". We will acknowledge your request within 72 hours and process all valid requests within the statutory timelines under the DPDP Act, 2023.

    7. Data Retention

We retain your waitlist data for a maximum of 3 years from the date of registration, or until the Nestyd platform has completed its early-access launch phase and credits have been applied — whichever comes first. If you request deletion before that period, we will erase your data within 30 days of receiving a valid request. Anonymised statistical aggregates (e.g., total signup counts by persona or country) may be retained indefinitely as they contain no personal identifiers.

    8. Grievance Redressal

In compliance with the DPDP Act, 2023, if you have any questions, concerns, or grievances regarding our handling of your personal data, you may contact our designated Grievance Officer:

    Grievance Officer

    Nestyd Operations

    Email: help@nestyd.com

    Subject Line: Data Privacy Grievance

    9. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our application moves from pre-launch to active deployment. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
